An octopus is a soft-bodied, eight-limbed mollusc of the order Octopoda. The order consists of some 300 species and is grouped within the class Cephalopoda with squids, cuttlefish, and nautiloids.

Octopuses are one of a few species from the modern era to live in Prehistoria. These cephalopods known to primitive cavemen as an Ikran and they come in different sizes some as big as a whale. They mostly live in the reefs of Prehistoria's ocean, the Gorahn Sea with other prehistoric sea creatures.
