Moropus is a genus Chalicothere that lived during the Early Miocene period in what is now North America.

Moropus are called Duro by all of Prehistoria's primitive people including Ka-Zar and his tribe. This species of Chalicothere roams in certain regions of Prehistoria but mostly the tundras of Zanthodon further in the north where they thrive with other animals such as ground sloths, Brontotherium, and mammoths. They often hunted by raptors, Dilophosaurus, Allosaurus, and Saber-Tooth Tigers.
