The Mammoth Tribe are a primitive tribe of Cavemen who live in the valley of Lo-Har in the center region of Prehistoria. They are a peaceful tribe who struggles to survive in a savage and dangerous world. The tribe is lead by Tumak who is known for leading hunting trips with other tribe members. Ka-Zar is among one of the members of the Mammoth Tribe who fight to win the love of Jana, Tumak's daughter. The tribe is also enemies to the Saber-Tooth Tribe which is a rival tribe from the island of Gondora who had killed members of the tribe many years before.
