Clam is a common name for several kinds of bivalve molluscs. The word is often applied only to those that are edible and live as infauna, spending most of their lives halfway buried in the sand of the seafloor or riverbeds.

Clams are among one of the few modern creatures in Prehistoria and are commonly known as Ganaks by various Stone Age tribes which would often gather them for food. Clams are often found near the shorelines that leads into the Gorahn Sea where many kinds of prehistoric sea creatures reside however the Giant Clams resides in the coral reefs of the Gorahn Sea with other sea creatures. Most clam are small while the Giant Clam is the same size as their counterparts of the modern age, however some Clams are large enough to trap a human inside.
